At 5 o’clock Monday morning Mrs. Eliza Hamilton age 85, died at White Church, near Darlington. Infirmities of old age was the cause of death. The deceased had been in ill health for some time and her death was not a surprise. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Ross County, Ohio in July 1829. She was married to George Hamilton. Five of the 10 children survive. They are: Abraham and Charles of Michigantown; Milton resides at home; Oliver lives at Union City and Mrs. Asa Anderson is in Darlington. One of the children of the deceased died as she and her husband were coming to Indiana from Ohio. The child was buried in Clouser cemetery at Darlington and was the third person to be laid to rest in that place - kbz
